Maverick variety spelt is the best for baking. Spelt in general is easier on your stomach and digestive system than other wheats. And best of all, spelt is easy to use - just replace your regular portions of flour when you are baking with spelt flour.
Fetching RSS feed... please stand byI do not have wheat allergies or intolerances, but I really enjoy baking with spelt. My bread is lighter, has an incredible texture, it is soft, and more moist than I have been able to make before. I love using spelt. (Yes, I've even used it in my cookie recipe.)
